With nearly a decade of experience in formulating and implementing legal and business strategies, Nicholas D’Aoust strives to protect and preserve his clients’ commercial interests.

He provides practical business and legal advice to companies, entrepreneurs, and professionals in various matters, including commercial transactions, contracts, commercial and corporate conflict resolution, and corporate governance as well as administrative procedures and government filings.

His goals are to gain in-depth knowledge of his clients’ objectives, create a collaborative and client-focused environment, and become a trusted, long-term advisor.

A graduate of the University of Ottawa’s Civil Law program and member of the Barreau du Québec, Nicholas opened his law firm in 2014 and remains its Executive Partner.

A member of the Barreau du Québec since 2005, Alexandre Sirois-Trahan has advised the business community, including private sector companies on a broad range of legal matters such as retail, manufacturing, construction, real estate, engineering, services, and health. He also counsels registered non-profit and charitable organizations on business law and Canadian tax laws, particularly concerning tax litigation—income tax and sales tax— as well as providing sales tax advisory services.

He began his career with a large Montreal law firm before moving to the Outaouais region in 2009. He practised law for several years in major national and international accounting firms in both Ottawa and Gatineau as a senior sales tax team leader.

Christian Dupuis holds degrees in law (1990) and political science (1987) from the University of Laval. A member of the Québec Bar since 1991, he practiced law in the greater Québec City area before moving to the Outaouais region in 2004.

He has been in private practice since the beginning of his career, either working in his own firm or within diversified corporate holdings. His clientele is made up of companies operating in fields ranging from real estate development and construction to pharmacies, food and petroleum product wholesalers, professional and amateur sports, medical-aesthetic clinics, franchisors and franchisees, car dealerships and more. He has thus developed solid experience in business law, corporate law, real estate law, bankruptcy and restructuring law, as well as civil and commercial litigation. Me Dupuis has been involved in cases litigated before the Superior Court, the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada, as well as before several administrative tribunals (TAT, TAQ, TAL, etc.).
