MANAGING PARTNERALEXANDRA ROY

Having graduated with honours from the University of Ottawa’s Civil Law program, Alexandra Roy has practiced law in the Outaouais region since 2012, following her admission to the Barreau du Québec. Before becoming a Managing Partner at Daoust Siroy in 2018, Alexandra worked for three years as a member of its legal team.

Focusing primarily on civil and commercial litigation, she is a skilled negotiator who intervenes before various authorities in defending the interests of her clients in complex and varied litigation.

Active in local professional associations, notably the Réseau des femmes d’affaires du Québec and the Chambre de commerce de Gatineau, Alexandra is also involved in several community initiatives and the Barreau de l’Outaouais.

LAWYERJULIE MORRISSETTE

Following her internship at a local private firm, Julie Morrissette joined the Daoust Siroy team in 2019.

She holds a law degree from the University of Ottawa, where she graduated cum laude in 2018 and was featured on the Dean’s Honours List, Faculty of Law (Civil Law Section), for her academic excellence. She was admitted to the Barreau du Québec in 2019 after completing her condensed professional training at l’École du Barreau in 2018.

Prior to this, Julie received an attestation of collegial studies in para legalism. With eight years of experience as a paralegal in several Montreal-based companies, she provides a multidisciplinary approach and an excellent skill set, particularly in the fields of banking law, estate planning, and civil and commercial litigation. Her extensive experience has allowed her to acquire a rigorous work ethic.

Fluently bilingual, she offers her legal services in both French and English.

She is also a member of the Research Ethics Committee of the Université du Québec en Outaouais (UQO).

Christian Dupuis holds degrees in law (1990) and political science (1987) from the University of Laval. A member of the Québec Bar since 1991, he practiced law in the greater Québec City area before moving to the Outaouais region in 2004.

He has been in private practice since the beginning of his career, either working in his own firm or within diversified corporate holdings. His clientele is made up of companies operating in fields ranging from real estate development and construction to pharmacies, food and petroleum product wholesalers, professional and amateur sports, medical-aesthetic clinics, franchisors and franchisees, car dealerships and more. He has thus developed solid experience in business law, corporate law, real estate law, bankruptcy and restructuring law, as well as civil and commercial litigation. Me Dupuis has been involved in cases litigated before the Superior Court, the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada, as well as before several administrative tribunals (TAT, TAQ, TAL, etc.).
